Totaea Rendell is an accomplished Artist and Designer based in Papamoa Beach, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
Originally from Auckland, raised in Wellington and educated at the Auckland Institute of Technology, Totaea has spent more than 20 years working across the visual arts industry, with creative experience spanning both Aotearoa and the United States.
His distinctive style is defined by bold, confident lines and clean, contemporary design. Drawing inspiration from New Zealand and Māori culture, Totaea creates a unique collection of products that are thoughtful, imaginative and often infused with a touch of humour. His work celebrates the character, culture and unmistakable spirit of what makes us uniquely Kiwi.
Proud of his Māori (Ngāti Maru), Cook Islands Māori and English heritage, Totaea brings together his passions for art, design, culture and travel, weaving these influences into a creative practice that is distinctly his own.
