Starting as a sole operator in 1989, Papakura Picture Framers is now a team of five with combined experience of over 40 years in the framing industry. Our staff bring a range of attributes and experience to the business to ensure a high standard of workmanship, integrity, and professionalism.  Walk into our light filled showroom and you will see all our team working in collaboration in all aspects of the business so that we are all equipped with the knowledge and expertise to offer the best service and advice. 

 

Mark Moore

Owner of Papakura Picture Framers, graduated from Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design before beginning his career in the print and photography industry. Drawing on his creative background and industry expertise, he purchased Papakura Picture Framers in 2004 with a vision to grow the business into a leading destination for custom framing and photographic services.

Over the past 20 years, Mark has successfully transformed the business, expanding its offerings well beyond traditional picture framing. Under his leadership, Papakura Picture Framers has introduced fine art printing, professional photo printing, canvas printing, photographic services, and a range of innovative solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of customers.

His passion for quality craftsmanship, customer service, and innovation continues to drive the business forward, ensuring Papakura Picture Framers remains at the forefront of the framing and imaging industry.

Sally Finlayson

Since joining Papakura Picture Framers in 2019, Sally has become a valued member of the team, bringing extensive experience and a passion for helping clients showcase their treasured artwork and memories.

With a background in hospitality and customer service, Sally naturally excels in building strong relationships with clients and guiding them through the framing process. She particularly enjoys the consultation stage, working closely with customers to select framing solutions that enhance and transform their artwork, photographs, and memorabilia.

While her primary focus is customer consultations and sales, Sally is fully trained in all aspects of picture framing. This comprehensive knowledge allows her to provide expert design advice, ensuring each project achieves the perfect balance of aesthetics, preservation, and functionality.

Known for her friendly approach, attention to detail, and creative eye, Sally takes pride in delivering exceptional service and helping clients bring their vision to life from concept through to the finished piece.

Abby McArthur

A valued member of team for over four years, Abby brings a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and exceptional customer service to every project she undertakes.

With extensive experience in custom picture framing, photographic printing, and presentation, Abby has developed a strong eye for detail and design. She works closely with clients to help them select framing solutions that enhance and protect their treasured pieces while complementing their personal style and space.

Known for her professionalism, creativity, and friendly approach, Abby takes pride in helping clients bring their memories and artwork to life. Her passion for craftsmanship and dedication to quality make her an integral part of our team.

D'Artagnan Sprengel

Our newest staff member with a growing passion for both picture framing and photography. As part of our team, he is developing hands-on skills in custom framing techniques, artwork handling, photographic presentation, and customer service.

With a keen eye for detail and a strong willingness to learn, D'Artagnan assists with frame preparation, mounting, finishing, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. He also supports photography-related projects, helping with image preparation, printing, and presentation to ensure clients receive quality results.
